Colombo HC quashes Chief Magistrate's bail order on Former Health Minister

Colombo (News 1st); The Colombo High Court today quashed the bail order issued by the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court on Former Health Minister Rajitha Senaratne.

Co-ordinating Officer to the Attorney General State Counsel Nishara Jayaratne confirmed to News 1st an application on the matter was filed by the Attorney General with the Colombo High Court today.

On the 30th of December 2019, the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court granted bail to the Former Minister in the case filed in connection with the White Van press conference.
