Colombo (News 1st); Train services will limit the number of passengers to the number of seats from Wednesday in all areas of the country except in areas where the curfew is still in effect.

The Ministry of Passenger Transport Management said the decision was reached at a meeting today to streamline transport services for both public and private sector employees who are returning to work following the easing of the curfew.

The Ministry said train tickets will be issued only when a passenger produces a company ID card.

It added, Public and Private sector employees reporting to work will be given priority.
