50% of COVID-19 infections in Sri Lanka are Asymptomatic

Speaking to reporters, the Health Minister said even if the curfew is relaxed, it is of paramount importance for the general public to continue to maintain social distancing.

She said there is a risk of the virus spreading from asymptomatic patients as the virus only transmits from person to person.

The Health Minister urged everyone to follow the guidelines given by health officials and to always wash their hands before entering any establishment or institution.
