COLOMBO (News 1st): U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson and his fiancé Carrie Symonds announced the birth of a son yesterday. A spokeswoman for the Premire and his partner said both mother and baby are "doing very well". The newborn son of Boris Johnson, whose name has yet to be made public, is only the third baby born to a serving Prime Minister in living memory. It is understood Johnson, who has just recovered from Coronavirus, was present throughout the birth, at an NHS hospital in London. Johnson was discharged from hospital on April 12th after himself contracting COVID-19, which he said had threatened his life, and returned to work on the April 27th. With Boris Johnson contracting the virus, it is unsure if the baby boy could have a possibility of contracting the virus even though Boris Johnson has recovered from the virus and returned to work. His fiancé; Carrie Symonds tweeted earlier this month that she was recovering from Coronavirus symptoms.
