554 arrested in 24 hours for curfew violations

More than 41,500 arrested, since curfew was imposed, for violations

Colombo (News 1st);  Sri Lanka Police arrested 554 people during the 24-hour window which ended at 06 AM today for violating the curfew and seized 159 vehicles. Police Spokesperson SP Jaliya Senaratne said in total 41,557 people were arrested for curfew violations and 10,719 vehicles were seized.
