Deputy Police Chief Ajith Rohana speaking at the National Operations Centre for Preventing COVID-19 said 92 people were arrested from 06 AM to 12 noon on Wednesday for violating the curfew in the Western Province and in the Puttlam District.
During the same time period, 22 vehicles were seized by Sri Lanka Police.
DIG Ajith Rohana said the validity of the curfew passes issued for institutions engaged in essential services was extended to the 31st of May.
