COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) on Tuesday said the South African national team's tour to the county, scheduled to take place in June, has been postponed, due to the current COVID– 19 pandemic. "The tour will be rescheduled, once normality returns," Sri Lanka Cricket said in a statement. Sri Lanka and South Africa were expected to face each other in three One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals each in Sri Lanka in mid-June. In mid-March, England's cricket tour of Sri Lanka was also postponed days ahead of the first match, as the outbreak worsened in the country. Various sporting events across the world, including this year's Olympics, have been postponed due to the current situation surrounding the spread of the virus.
