All cases at Hultsdorf MC moved to Fort MC, due to COVID-19 concerns

Colombo (News 1st);  All cases filed with the Hultsdorf Chief Magistrate's Court would be taken up at the Fort Magistrate's Court with immediate effect. The decision was made after several people from Hultsdorf, where the Court premises are also located, tested positive for COVID-19. The Judicial Services Commission said Colombo High Courts and District Courts located at the premises of the Supreme Court Complex would not operate, taking in to account the present situation. The JCS added all suspects who were to be produced at the Hultsdorf Chief Magistrate's Court would be taken to the Fort Magistrate's Court.
