More than 100 people to complete quarantine today

COLOMBO (News1st): More than 100 people are set to return to their homes upon completing quarantine, Sri Lanka's army chief said Saturday. Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva who heads the national operation centre for COVID-19 said that nearly 4000 people have completed the 14-day quarantine period in quarantine centres. The health ministry has announced that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country stands at 244 after six people tested positive for the virus on Friday. However, only 160 cases are active as 77 patients have recovered from the virus so far. Sri Lanka has confirmed seven deaths related to the coronavirus.
