Water supply to be cut-off to several areas in Colombo

COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lanka's state-run water board announced that water supply to several areas in Colombo will be suspended for 18 hours starting at 1 pm today. Accordingly, the Colombo 09, Colombo 14 and Nawagampura areas will experience a water cut until 8 am on Friday, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said. Meanwhile, water will be supplied to Colombo 13 and 15 under low pressure conditions, during this period. The water board said that the water cut will take place owing to maintenance activities.
