COLOMBO (News1st): Sri Lanka’s total number of COVID – 19 cases rose to 183, following the detection of five patients, the health ministry said on Tuesday.
Three patients who tested positive for the virus were at the quarantine centre in Punani, Batticaloa, director-general of health services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said.
Earlier today, the health ministry confirmed its sixth death due to the virus, while also announcing four more recoveries.
Accordingly, the total number of active cases stands at 132, with the total recovered cases standing at 42.
