COLOMBO (News 1st):- Health officials state that over 150 people who associated with the Corona infected lady in Pannila, Beruwala have been sent for quarantine.

Medical Officer of Health in Beruwala, Waruna Senevirathne says that it was decided to send these people over to a quarantine center. The infected lady was tested positive, following a test when she was admitted to the Nagoda base hospital in Kalutara for her childbirth.

Dr. Waruna Senevirathne states that the mother and her child have now been transferred to the Colombo Neville Fernando hospital. As of now, 12 people have been tested positive in Beruwala. Thereby, health measures in over 7 Grama Niladhari divisions have been tightened.
