Sri Lankan rupee slide continues

COLOMBO (News1st): The Sri Lankan Rupee on Friday depreciated to 193.75 against the US dollar when compared to Thursday's selling rate of Rs 192.80, the central bank said. The rupee slide which continued against the backdrop of the COVID-19 virus in the country came days after the central bank showed that the rupee had depreciated by 4.7 percent by March this year.
