COLOMBO (News1st): The number of COVID – 19 patients in the country has risen to 146, Director General of Health Services Dr. Anil Jasinghe said on Wednesday.

Dr. Jasinghe said the number has risen to 146 after three patients from Jaffna, Maradana, and Kurunegala each tested positive for the virus today.

According to the Ministry of Health, 126 patients suspected to have contracted the virus are under observation with 18 patients having recovered so far.

Two patients have died since contracting the virus in the country.
