Government decides on imposing curfew and isolating selected areas - PMD

Issuing a notice the Director of the presidential media division, Mohan Samaranayake said the decision to select areas where a curfew should be imposed after analyzing all data and select quarantine areas, is being taken by the highest authorities in the government. All information regarding quarantine areas being changed should be given to the Special Presidential Task Force established for the Prevention of COVID-19. The notice further explained that provincial authorities can not take any decision that interrupts the daily life of the people.
