Curfew violators arrested

1,167 nabbed for violating police curfew

1,167 people have been arrested during the past 24 hours for violating the Police curfew, police said. The arrests were made between 6 a.m. yesterday and 6 a.m. today. 260 vehicles have also been seized in that time frame. 5185 people were arrested in total since the Police curfew was first declared at 6 p.m.on the 20th of this month.
