President pledges USD 5 mn to the SAARC Corona Emergency Fund

COLOMBO (News1st): President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has pledged USD 5 million to the SAARC Corona Emergency Fund. During a video conference among leaders of SAARC countries this month, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi proposed to set-up the emergency fund. The Indian Prime Minister offered an initial contribution of USD 10 million.
