COVID-19 patients identified from around the country

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The number of COVID - 19 patients have risen to 81. The total number of confirmed cases as at 5:00 pm today (March 22) stands at 77. 70 are being treated at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases. 07 cases were from the Welikanda Base Hospital. The distribution of COVID - 19 patients across the country are as follows; Colombo - 16 patients Gampaha - 10 patients Puttalam - 06 patients Kalutara - 04 patients Ratnapura - 03 patients Kurunegala, Galle, Kegalle, Batticaloa and Badulla - 01 patient each. 31 are currently in quarantine centres while three of them are foreign tourists of Chinese, Indian and French nationalities.
