UPDATE: 130 arrested for disregarding ongoing curfew

UPDATE:  130 people have been arrested as of now for violating the ongoing curfew law. The arrests have been made from  Bandarawela, Haputhale, Dambulla, Walasmulla, Nallathanniya, Ampara, Uhana, Bandaragama, Akmeemana, Karuwalagaswewa and Galewela The police curfew which came into effect at 6.00 am yesterday (March 20) will continue to be in effect till 6.00 am on Monday (March 23). DIG Ajith Rohana states that strict actions will be taken against all those violating laws during the curfew period.
