Eight arrested for violating police curfew

COLOMBO (News 1st) Eight people who violated the police curfew in Mahaulpatha, Bandarawela were arrested by the Police yesterday. Police said the suspects were arrested for hosting a party while the countrywide curfew was in effect. Deputy Inspector General of Police Ajith Rohana yesterday said the law will be strictly enforced against anyone who violates the curfew.
