Colombo (News st) The Presidents Media Division announced aircraft will not be permitted to land at the BIA for a period of two weeks.

The Civil Aviation Authority confirmed all passenger arrivals will be suspended from midnight tomorrow(18) to the 31st of March.

However, departure from the BIA, transit and cargo transportation will not be affected, according to the CAA, adding these services will continue.

President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had given the respective instructions when the Task Force to Combat COVID-19 met today.
