8 suspects linked to the Hagala forest fire, arrested

Colombo (News 1st)- 8 suspects have been arrested for setting fire to a section of the Hagala forest in Balangoda.
The police stated that the suspects pleaded guilty after being produced before the Balangoda court today.
Accordingly, each suspect was fined Rs. 30,000. The suspects are residents of Hendala and Wattala.
