UNP confirms to contest under elephant symbol for general elections - NEC

COLOMBO (News 1st):-  The United National Party has informed the Chairman of the National Election Commission that it would contest for the upcoming general elections under the elephant symbol. UNP General Secretary Akila Viraj Kariyawasam has officially written to the NEC Chairman that the UNP will contest in all 22 districts of the country under this symbol.
