24 hour water-cut for several areas on the 9th

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The National Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply to several areas including Peliyagoda and Wattala will be suspended for 24 hours from 8 am on March 9th. Accordingly, the water cut will affect Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja-Ela and areas falling under the purview of the Katunayake and Seeduwa Municipal Councils, Kelaniya, Biyagama, Mahara, Dompe and several areas falling under the purview of the Gampaha PS. The National Water Supply and Drainage Board said the reason behind the water cut is a sudden maintenance activity taking place at the Sapugaskanda grid substation of the Ceylon Electricity Board.
