Suspect with 9 warrants arrested in Peliyagoda

Colombo (News 1st)-  A suspect with 9 warrants issued by various courts was arrested in Dutugemunu Mawatha, Peliyagoda. The police stated that 2g and 300mg of Heroin were seized from the suspect's possession. It was revealed that the suspect had broken into and robbed houses in Mahabage, Peliyagoda, Kiribathgoda, and Katana. The police stated that further investigations led to the discovery of 5 gold rings, 2 gold bangles, 3 gold earrings, 10 mobile phones, 6 laptops, a camera and a television that were in the suspect's possession. The 33-year old suspect is a resident of Boralesgamuwa. He is to be produced before the Gangodawila Magistrate today.
