Interdicted HCJ Pilapitiya issued summons

Interdicted High Court Judge Gihan Pilapitiya was today issued summons to appear in court on the 02nd of April by Nugegoda Chief Magistrate Mohamed Mihar. The Nugegoda Chief Magistrate observed there was sufficient evidence to continue with the case filed against Interdicted High Court Judge Gihan Pilapitiya for conspiring with MP Ranjan Ramanayake over the telephone to operate in a prejudicial manner against a suspect in a case which was pending in court. Court ordered for the summons to be served through ASP Neville De Silva who is attached to the Colombo Crimes Division.
