Prices of vegetables at Dambulla economic centre decreases

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The prices of vegetables at the Dambulla Economic Centre have rapidly decreased. Former President of the Economic Centre, U. B. Ekanayake says that a kilogram of onions that was previously sold at Rs. 650 is currently being sold at Rs. 180 - 220, while a kilogram of potatoes previously sold at Rs. 110, is now sold at Rs. 70-80. Meanwhile, a kilogram of imported potatoes is priced at Rs. 85 - 90.
