COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Disciplinary Committee of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) has decided to name MP Wijith Wijayamuni Zoysa guilty of violating the party’s constitution.

The decision will be then submitted to the Central Committee of the SLFP and the politburo. A senior member of the SLFP said that this decision was taken at the disciplinary committee meeting today (February 29).

He was mainly accused of obtaining a nomination through the national list, violating the party’s principles and supporting a different political party. The process of calling for evidence for the MP ended on the 25th of February.
