Police bust 515g of ICE from Ragama

Colombo (News 1st) - A suspect has been arrested from the Batuwatte area in Ragama for the possession of 515g of ICE and 5.31g of heroin. According to the Police STF, the arrested suspect has been linked to a number of organized crimes including the theft of over Rs 70mn in Wattala in 2010 and Assault with a deadly weapon in 2019. The suspect had been out on bail after being previously remanded. Interrogation of the suspect had revealed that he had obtained the drugs from underworld criminal Keselwatte Dinuk. The suspect has been handed over to the Ragama police for further investigations.
