Heavy traffic opposite Isurupaya in Battaramulla due to Teachers protest

Colombo (News 1st) - Heavy Traffic is reported along the 174 bus route from Pelawatte due to a protest by trade unions represented by teachers and principals, opposite Isurupaya in Battaramulla. Teachers' and Principals' Trade Unions are currently engaged in a trade union action by reporting sick. Our correspondents based across the island confirmed academic activities across a majority of schools have been hampered as a result of this trade union action.
