General Election between 25th April & 05th May ?

The National Elections Commission said the 2020 Parliamentary Elections would most likely take place between the 25th of April and the 04th of May.
Chairman of the National Elections Commission Mahinda Deshapriya speaking to reporters said the constitutional power to make such a decision lies with the President.
