New southern expressway bus fares announced

Colombo (News 1st) - Bus services along the Southern Expressway from Godagama in Matara to Barawakumbura, Hambantota will commence tomorrow. Subject Minister Mahinda Amaraweera is due to attend an event in Hambantota tomorrow to inaugurate the service. The bus fares for the new service are as follows

• Hambantota to Colombo - Rs 880
• Tangalle to Colombo - Rs 680
• Hambantota to Makumbura - Rs 810
• Tangalle to Makumbura  - Rs 610

10 buses are to be deployed for services along the new section of the Southern Expressway which was declared open by President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and PM Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (Feb 23).
