35 year old arrested for posessing local firearm in Nittambuwa

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A 35-year-old individual has been arrested for the possession of a locally manufactured firearm from Passala, Nittambuwa. The police said that the arrested individual had warrants issued against him from the Gampaha, Hettipola, Minuwangoda and Attanagalla courts. He has been identified as a resident of Ellakkala. The suspect is due to be presented before the Attanagalla Magistrate Courts today (February 23).
