COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Foreign Affairs Ministry states that the Sri Lankans living in South Korea are now being closely monitored due to the spread of Coronavirus in that country.
The Ministry states that the coordinating activities will be conducted through the Sri Lankan embassy in Seoul.
According to the Sri Lankan embassy, none of the Sri Lankans in South Korea has been affected by the virus. The number of Sri Lankans living in South Korea currently as migrant workers and students exceed 20,000. Among these people, special focus has been given to 915 Sri Lankans residing in Daegu, South Korea.
