Most Ven. Ampitiye Rahula Maha Thero passes away at the age of 106

Colombo (News 1st): The Chief Incumbent of Maharagama Siri Vajiragnana Dharmayathanaya and Senior Advisor of the Supreme Council of the Amarapura Dharmarakshitha Maha Nikaya, Most Venerable Ampitiye Rahula Maha Thero passed away this morning at the age of 106. The Thero's remains will be placed at Maharagama Dharmayathanaya until the 19th and then will be brought to the Vajiraramaya in Bambalapitiya. the cremation ceremony is set to take place on the 20th.
