Daily energy production declining rapidly - Ministry of Power and Energy

COLOMBO (News 1st):- The Ministry of Power and Renewable Energy states that the daily energy production is currently decreasing rapidly due to the prevailing dry weather.
Media spokesperson of the Ministry, Sulakshana Jayawardene says that as of now the daily energy production stands at 15%. He further says that currently, the water levels of the water bodies close to hydroelectric power plants have reduced up to 69%.
