Ethiopian Drugs seized at Central Mail Exchange

Colombo (News 1st): 20 kilograms of drugs sent to Sri Lanka from Ethiopia were seized by the Police Narcotic Bureau at the Central Mail Exchange. Sri Lanka Police said the drugs were packed in a series of parcels and the person who ordered for the parcel is yet to arrive at the Central Mail Exchange. Police added an investigation is underway to locate and apprehend one or more suspects involved in ordering the parcel to Sri Lanka. The Police Narcotic Bureau believes Sri Lanka is likely being used by traffickers to re-ship the drugs to Europe.
