Colombo (News 1st): Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa paid homage at Buddhagaya in the Indian State of Bihar today (Feb 10). The Prime Minister's media division said that the Prime Minister who arrived at the Buddhagaya airport was warmly welcomed by dozens of Indian nationals.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa paid homage to the Mahabodhi temple and obtained blessings from the Maha Bodhi. The Prime Minister had engaged in a cordial discussion with the Venerable Theros at the temple and Sri Lankan devotees.
Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, who is on a four-day official visit to India at the invitation of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is due to arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow.
