Parliament will be dissolved by March 2nd: Min. Dinesh Gunawardena

Colombo (News 1st): Speaking to reporters government Minister Dinesh Gunawardena stated the President has received the Gazzette for the dissolution of Parliament on the 2nd of March. He said it only requires the President's signature to be enacted. In addition to this State Minister of Information and Communication Technology Lakshman Yapa Abeygunawardena said the election could be held by the 25th of April or within the first week of May.  However, he noted that parliament could be dissolved in February if the United National Party supports the move.
