Three flights carrying 141 passengers including Chinese nationals arrives in Lanka

COLOMBO (News 1st):- Three more flights carrying 141 passengers including Sri Lankans have arrived at the country from China. 39 of these passengers are Chinese nationals. Director in-charge of the BIA said that these flights had arrived last night (February 1) and early this morning (February 2) at the Katunayake airport from Chengdu, Guangzhou, and Beijing. Out of the 25 passengers who came to the country on board the Chengdu flight, 24 are Chinese nationals. The other passenger is a Sri Lankan student. 54 Sri Lankan men, 18 Sri Lankan women and 9 Chinese nationals had arrived at the country from Guangzhou. Out of the 83 passengers that arrived at the country from Beijing, 09 have been identified as Chinese nationals. Acting ambassador to China, K. Yoganathan states that a few other Sri Lankan students are due to arrive in the island tomorrow (February 3) as well.
