SriLankan thanks selfless volunteers who flew to Wuhan

COLOMBO (News 1st):- SriLankan Airlines has extended their gratitude to the crew members and staff who flew aboard flight UL 1423, to bring back the Sri Lankan students back from Wuhan, China. The "Mission of Mercy" was initiated upon orders of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. The flight carrying the students from Wuhan landed at the Mattala International airport this morning (February 1), from where the students were transferred safely to a camp in Diyathalawa. Extending a special thanking note, Chairman of the National carrier, Ashok Pathirage, commended the selfless efforts of the 16 crew members who voluntarily flew into Wuhan. This mission was carried out with close support of the Sri Lanka Air Force which dispatched its BioMedical Team to Mattala and provided all the necessary equipment.
