Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa given Honorary Taekwondo Black Belt by World Taekwondo Federation

Colombo (News 1st): President of the World Taekwondo Federation Chungwon Cho met with Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (Jan 25) at the Prime Minister's Office in Parliament. The World Taekwondo Federation has begun a taekwondo training program for orphan children. It was reported that Cambodia, Sri Lanka, and Nepal have been selected for this pilot project out of the 210 member states of the Conference. The president of the World Taekwondo federation further said that decisions have made to provide facilities to children who learn taekwondo. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was given the black belt, symbolizing the highest grade of taekwondo games. The Prime Minister's media unit stated that the World Taekwondo Conference presented it as an award to a state leader.
