10 arrested for the possession of heroin in islandwide raids

Colombo (News 1st): 10 suspects have been arrested for the possession of heroin in several operations conducted throughout the island. Police stated the suspects were arrested from Ranala, Ingiriya, Mount Lavinia, Nittambuwa, Egodauyana, and Kekirawa areas. A total of Over 300 grams of heroin was seized from the possession of the suspects. The suspects who were arrested in the Kekirawa and Nittambuwa areas were remanded until the 5th of February
