Police sergeant remanded over 21 year old murder

COLOMBO (News 1st):- A police sergeant attached to the Pitabaddara police in Matara has been arrested in connection to a murder that occurred in 1999.
The police sergeant was arrested based on orders given by the Attorney General.
The suspect who was presented before the Morawaka Magistrate Court was remanded till the 03rd of February.
