Sri Lanka’s stocks ends on a good note

Colombo (News 1st): Sri Lanka’s stocks ended firmer today (Jan 21), snapping a five straight losing streak as investors picked up diversified shares and banking stocks. The All Share Price Index at the Colombo stock exchange ended 0.14% or 8.13 points up at 5,914.33. The more liquid S&P SL20 Index closed 1.47% or 40.84 points up at 2,825.50. The market turnover was Rs. 339.95 million. The Exchange rates today were as follows;
