Colombo (News 1st): The Colombo Crimes Division recorded a statement from High Court Judge Gihan Pilapitiya for almost 05 hours last evening (Jan 19) as per the instructions of the Attorney General. Statements were recorded over the High Court Judge’s involvement in the controversial phone conversations with MP Ranjan Ramanayake, who is in remand custody.

The Colombo Crimes Division is to record statements from Retired High Court Judge Padmini M Ranawaka and Interdicted Justice Dhammika Hemapala as well.
