Water supply suspended for Galle during night

COLOMBO(News 1st) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board states that they will restrict the water supply for the Galle district during the night from next week. General Manager of the Water Board, R.H. Ruwanis stated that the water supply for the Galle district will be interrupted from 11 pm to 4 am. He added that due to the prevailing dry weather condition, the water supply will be suspended for various areas in the Galle and Gampaha districts. He further added that if the dry weather continues they would suspend the water supply for Anuradhapura, Kantale and Bandarawela areas.
