Ranjan produced before Gangodawila Magistrate Court

Colombo (News 1st): Parliamentarian Ranjan Ramanayake who is currently in remand custody was brought to the Gangodawila Magistrate Court earlier today (Jan 17). MP Ramanayake was arrested at on the 14th of January from his residence at the Madiwela MP’s quarters based on a warrant issued by the Nugegoda Magistrate. Ramanayake was remanded until the 29th of January, after being produced before the Nugegoda Magistrate on the 15th of January. He was arrested over the charges of hindering the judicial process after evidence of doing so surfaced on social media.
