Colombo (News 1st) - The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation notes that tensions between USA and Iran will not affect the supply of fuel in Sri Lanka. A high ranking official at the CPC notes that they continue to maintain ample stocks of fuel in their storage facilities, enough to last 20 to 30 days. He added that discussions have also been held to utilize storage tanks located in Hambantota if necessary. Meanwhile the Ministry of Power and Energy yesterday informed the Cabinet of ministers on the steps that could be taken in case a fuel shortage arises.
