Graduation ceremony of the Maharaja Institute of Management successfully held today

COLOMBO(News 1st) -  The graduation ceremony for 2018 and 2019 of The Capital Maharaja Organisation's, Maharaja Institute of Management (MIM) was held at the Stein Studios today (January 16). MIM students who completed the diploma in electronic media, certificate course in sales and marketing and certificate course in television and radio program presenting were awarded diplomas today. The diplomas were presented to 75 students chosen across the island, by the Vice-Chancellor of the Uva Wellassa University, Professor Jayantha Lal Rathnasekara. The golden award for the best student of 2019, was awarded to Ruhaza Irfan. Professor Jayantha Lal Rathnasekara, Vice-Chancellor, Uva Wellassa University stated that most are not prepared to endure pressure. He added that some just make complaints and do nothing. "During the dry season, they complained that it was warm. But when it starts to rain, they start to compliant again." He added. He went on to note that those who are not prepared to endure extreme pressure are of no use to the society and parents do not teach their children to undergo pressure. The event was addressed by the Group Director of Electronic Media Business of The Capital Maharaja Organisation Nedra Weerasinghe, Group Director Legal and HR Suranga Jayalath, Group Director Chevaan Daniel and CEO of the Maharaja Institute of Management Chethana Liyanage.
